I have had my RadioHead Cat for over 4 years now. I love that thing, don’t get me wrong. I called him blinky and he is awesome, but I felt it was time to move on. I am in a transitional stage of life, and a DA avatar swap is the first step in much larger changes to come for me. The little octopus I chose is something that was sent to me a long time ago, via AIM. I feel there is some artist, somewhere, deserving credit, but I searched DA for “Octopus avatar” and “Octopus icon” and it didn’t come up. If anyone knows who this little guy belongs to, please let me know, because no theft was intended.
With that said, I am not sure if I will keep the little guy. I’m looking for something with an octopus, but maybe not this one.
Anyways, just thought I would mention the change, since I’m sure there are people like me out there, who recognize other’s by their icons, not their names, and avatar switches reek havoc on us.
