I <3 Ariel.
I draw her a lot, I just never upload any of it, so here is another quick doodle-thing I did the other day while watching the best movie ever.
I was inspired by the scene where she bursts out of the water after becoming human, but I drew this about 20 minutes before that part of the movie, so I didn't have much to reference as far as the arch of the back and the angle of the neck, and all that is concerned. It was more of just the "idea"...
Her tail and fin are longer here than in the film, and that is because, well, I felt it looked prettier this way. Enough said.
I could colour this, but I'm busy trying to get other work done.

oh but one tiny thing? yer tail fin---riiight below her hand? looks like it has a kink it it- a little smoother would make it dynamite, but thats nit picking- I think this would make a neat sailor tat. --  ~Starbucks April/ 15/ 2005  "I know things are bad and getting worse But after all this I can rest awhile And then I’ll party, party" awww
