I have been trying to improve on my colouring, and I really feel I could take this picture to the next level if I but knew how. Im only encouraging advanced critic on this in hopes of getting tips. Please dont tear me apart, Im coming from being a pen-and-ink artist, and I have never been to art school, and I failed every art class I ever took in high school. :/
Alright, so, Peter and Tink, as seen in my line-art here: [link] all coloured. I was going for dramatic, I hope I got some of that. Tink was the hardest part of this picture because she is SO small. I forgot to save my NOT sized down copy of the line-art (first time EVER) so I only had an image 900x850 to work with, and with her face so tiny, and limbs so thin, it was HARD! So forgive her her crappyness. Shadows need to be darker, highlights brighter GAH! 20 layers and 8 hours later I just gave up.
I still like this, despite everything that bothers me.
yay! that's, like, the best compliment an artist could get! *hugs* *sparkles*

I love the glow that Tink is giving off. And I agree with ~DarkFantasy they do look alive. Course Peter looks like he's about to get into some mischeif with the Lost Boys or go bug Hook, I'm not sure which...probably both
One thing I could tell you (if you are using Photoshop but not a tablet) is use the following tools-
Brush tools, hard for filling in color, soft and medium opacity for shading. Smudge tools- smooth out your stuff really nicely. Avoid using the Burn and Dodge tools for skin. Lots of Layers until you are like, really used to it. Like really used to it.
